Finance Controller - Diversified Business Group India - Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Accounting and Budgeting
• Forecasting & Controllership
• Ensure accurate accounting and regular reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain price/cost analyze the cause and suggest action plan.
• Preparing budgets, set targets and measure performance against the targets
• Preparing for forecasts as per changing scenarios.
• Work out scenarios, analyze reports for deviations and provide decision support
• Timely and accurate Group reporting and MIS
• Monitor and optimize Free Cash Flow
• Push cost saving targets, provides ideas to functions and help assess achievement
• Ensure defined processes are followed.
• Internal controls as per company policies and statutory requirements are being maintained. Responsible for internal control effectiveness monitoring
• Work with other functions to identify inefficiency in processes and correct the same.
• Ensure protection of company assets.
• Co-ordinate with indirect taxation dept to ensure statutory requirements are followed,
• Work with IT to improve automated generation of reports
• Work with central consolidation team to ensure completion of all audits
• Financially review investment proposals
• Review of major contracts and Pos for commercial terms
• Designing and implementing control systems
• Analyze business processes and develop cost saving controls
• Process Improvement & system implementation
